ADHD Assessment

The process for an ADHD assessment is straightforward. It begins with a referral from your GP, which we review to ensure the assessment is appropriate for our clinic. If suitable, we will offer you an appointment time. All assessments are conducted via telehealth with one of our psychiatrists.

Before your appointment, you will receive a set of pre-assessment screening measures. These questionnaires help your psychiatrist understand your current concerns and guide the assessment conversation.

As part of the process, we also request a collateral form to be completed by someone who knows you well—such as a parent, partner, or teacher. This applies to all assessments, including for adults, adolescents, and children.

Following the assessment, a written report is provided to your GP. Where relevant, next steps—such as treatment recommendations or medication options—are discussed and coordinated with you.
